Jacket designed by Hannes Bok (who also designed the jacket for Campbell's Who Goes There?). Currey 251. Joshi 34-35. Published posthumously, this is Howard's first book to be published in the U.S. A selection of stories featuring many of Howard's best-known characters (including Conan, King Kull, and Solomon Kane) most of which were first published in Weird Tales magazine. A sharp copy of this high-spot in science fiction and fantasy literature. An owner's (a private individual) name stamp on the half-title page, the common toning to the fore-edge; jacket is overall sharp with a touch of edge wear to its tips and faint toning to the rear panel.
