Martin Stone's copy, with his library stamp on the front endpaper and ownership signature on the flyleaf. Entertainment lawyer Martin Stone, the creator of Howdy Doody, produced the acclaimed radio show, "Author Meets the Critics." Stone was also an unofficial adviser to President Harry S. Truman.
