About this Item
Octavo. 62 pages, index. One of the important early studies of taxation shifting toward the end of FDR's third term. While not a political volume, this was a matter that Mering laid out both in terms of theory with the balance of competition and monopolies; Both the earlier work of E.R.A. Seligman and this major study of Mering became the basic beginning point for modern economic theory after 1960. Bound in blue cloth, spine gilt over black, in a very good dust jacket with a few tiny edge tears and a couple of stains to front panel, spine evenly faded. A very nice copy.
