Dampstain or tide mark in the top margin throughout most of the book, darkest at the title page and last few leaves. Light foxing, a few pp. with pencil marks. Not in Roberts. A Congregational pastor, he graduated at Williams College in 1813, tutored for two years, entered the ministry in Massachusetts and was installed as pastor over the Third Congregational Church of Portland, Maine, in 1825, where he remained until his untimely death.
