Foxing (chiefly in the margins) else very good. The first London printing, published for the benefit of the poor. An essentially unobtainable edition was also printed in New York by Bradford. Cornbury is remembered not so much for his stormy tenure as colonial governor of New York and New Jersey, but rather from the contemporary portrait of him, in The New-York Historical Society, in which he is portrayed in women's clothing.
