Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Blue gilt stamped cloth over boards, map on end papers, black-and-white frontispiece of the "Enterprize and Boxer", xi, 196 pages, Bibliography, six illustrations, title page and chapter headings decorated. Corners and spine ends bumped with some wear, front cover foxed, gilt fading a bit, some foxing & soil on end papers, frontispiece foxed (interior is not foxed and there is no mildew odor). The capture of HMS Boxer in 1813 was a naval battle of the War of 1812, in which the United States Navy brig USS Enterprise defeated the Royal Navy brig HMS Boxer. Quantity Available: 1.
