1932 FIRST PRINTING of First Edition. Original red cloth with black lettering front and spine. The book has clean covers, rub through cloth lower outside front corner tip, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, solid binding. The very uncommon original dust jacket has faded spine, loss at corners up to 1cm, several short edge tears, clipped top front flap corner. Very uncommon book. Adventures of eight Eagle Scouts throughout the USA Rockies (Tetons & Colorado) organized by the chief naturalist of the National Park Service, Ansell F. Hall. Covers Grand Canyon, ancient Pueblo ruins, Mesa Verde ruins, ascent of Long's Peak, climb up Teton Glacier with Fritiof Fryxell, Yellowstone and building a new trail there, etc. The book measures 207mm tall x 140mm, and has 220 pages, 30 b/w photo plates.
