First Edition 1946 Clean and tight copy . Humble was a Scottish mountaineering luminary and famous for carrying a straw when doing a traverse of the Cuillin Ridge so he did not have to carry water and keep the carrying weight down to a minimum. He would use the straw to suck water out of any puddles! Also when asked why he retired from dentistry he replied; 'Ha coudn't here the buggers screaming'! Collectable. Seller Inventory # 003772
