Following is the order of publication by Scholastic: #4 Green Ghost (tall) - September 1971 #1 Terror Castle (tall) - November 1971 #11 Talking Skull - September 1974 #21 Haunted Mirror - September 1975 #19 Phantom Lake - January 1976 #20 Monster Mountain - January 1978 #25 Dancing Devil - April 1978 (rare) #10 Moaning Cave - October 1978 #3 Whispering Mummy - January 1979 #12 Laughing Shadow - September 1979 #9 Screaming Clock - November 1979 #7 Fiery Eye - March 1980 (rare) #15 Flaming Footprints September 1980 #8 Silver Spider - February 1981 #4 Green Ghost (short) - October 1981 #30 Shark Reef - December 1981 (scarce) #18 Shrinking House - February 1982 #6 Skeleton Island September 1982 (rare) #32 Blazing Cliffs January 1983 (scarce) #14 Coughing Dragon - November 1983 #13 Crooked Cat - January 1984 (rare) All 21 books are all in very nice condition - no missing pages and no missing pre-title/story summary pages (not all of these Scholastic books had a story summary page), most of the books appear unread with no creased page corners or vertical spine creasing (just a couple of books have vertical spine creasing), no spine leaning - books are all square (not angled), hint of age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges and/or inside covers on just a few books (no foxing), small moisture outline mark at top page edge to first few pages on #9 otherwise no evidence of moisture exposure to page edges on any of the books, no former ownership or used bookstore stamps inside (very common defect with these children's books as these books were purchased through public grade schools - erased name at top of title page on 1 book), none of the books have checkmarks to internal book lists, a few books have significant front cover corner creasing (#9, #10, #14, #15, #18, #20), besides tiny chip at top right on cover on #25 no cover or spine chipping to any of the books, no cover tears, slight wear to spine tips on just a few books, no soiling or staining to front covers (and no labels to covers), no significant front cover color rubbing to covers, just a couple of books have some edge wear of note, no spine sun fading to any of the books. Overall a VG to N-FINE condition set of all 21 The Three Investigators series pb books published by Scholastic. I have a number of other hardcover and paperback Three Investigator books up for sale.
