This novel is a moral tract on Christian theology regarding temptation & resistance. 137 pgs, composed of 31 one-way, epistolic letters from senior demon Screwtape to his nephew Wormwood, a junior tempter assigned to secure the damnation of a British man known only as "the Patient", in the 20th century world of the un-holy trinity --- the World, the Flesh, and the Devil among lukewarm & post-Christians.
