A beautiful large white illustrated edition, the first thus of this classic oriental verse. Measures 11.25 in x 9 in x 1.5 in. Printed from the second edition by permission from Macmillan & Co. Ltd. Twenty stunning tipped-in full colour plates, protected by tissue-guard pages, by one of the great artists of the Edwardian era, Edmund Dulac. Very bright, clean pages throughout. Very good overall condition with minuscule rubbing at extremities. Neat ink name and date (1910) to peacock feather-patterned front green endpaper. Book is protected in new clear film mylar which gives a lovely fresh look. Would make a lovely gift. Heavy item and extra postage will be advised at the time of purchase. Seller Inventory # 8009
