Description:
First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight, clean and square. Boards sharp and clean, gilt perfect. Bumped to head and foot of spine. Text block clean, with light toning to edges, and two feint spots to top edge. Pages crisp and unblemished. Feels tight and lightly read. Near fine condition. Jacket has some rubbing to the joints and edges of the front panel. There is some rubbing with minor loss to the spine ends. The rear white panel is clean with with some very feint marking. Jacket grades very good. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very solid example of this uncommon Arkham House title, with illustrations by Virgil Findlay. A very nice condition book for a collector, in a much better jacket than is normally found.
