Original brown cloth. 12mo. 298pp & 6pp ads. The author was an attorney and newspaper writer in Williamsport before moving to Texas in 1882. He practiced law there for two years and relocated to North Dakota where he served as managing editor for the Grand Forks Herald for 12 years. After moving back to Pennsylvania he continued his project of revising and codifying the laws of that state. A worn copy with some chipping and wear to the spine tips and corners and some spotting and fading to the spine. The text is good with some scattered heavy foxing. Scarce. Seller Inventory # 9078
