1st edition (stated) Very good/very good (a generally nice-looking copy of the first American edition of the first Poldark novel, but with a few condition problems; the front pastedown is stamped "Property of U.S. Navy" and there is a previous owner's name stamped on the front free endpaper; the dj, not price-clipped, has a mostly closed tear running from the top edge down the back edge of the spine that is not very noticeable through the mylar, and there are a couple of small pieces of tape stuck to the front flap; there are also some small light-colored stains on the textblock edges).
