White pictorial cloth. 12mo. 5 by 7 inches. Pictorial dust jacket. First edition. Illustrated. A charming counting book for children about a little girl who takes an umbrella out on a sunny day. When it begins to rain her umbrella is big enough to accommodate a variety of animals, including a little dog, two kittens, three little pigs and a big wet bear. A good copy with some light soiling to the covers and some light wear to the spine tips. The endsheets have some soiling else the text is very good and clean. The jacket is good with some light soiling and a few small chips and tears to the spine tips and edges. The jacket has the original price of $2.00 on the flap. The front flap has a small bookstore sticker at the bottom obscuring some of the text. The sticker measures 1 1/2 by 2 inches in size. The flaps themselves have some light soiling. Scarce.
