1st edition hardcover in red cloth covered boards with bumped spine foot, else sharp. No names, tears or soil in the 312pp text. Un-clipped dj in new mylar shows color loss and small chips at extremities, spine darkened, title barely legible. On an across the pond trip by a twenty something Lark Shannon, a shipwreck occurs off the Virginia coast. The ship was transporting horses as well and they were shipwrecked on Ghost Island. How Lark meets up with a man she was crushing on and how a horse becomes her own is the theme of this exciting story. Seller Inventory # 48678
