Bergmann was a member of the Vienna Circle and came to the United States in 1938 where he remained for the rest of his career. In this book, Bergmann discusses his general views on ontology, lays out his theory of representationalism, and provides an extended critique of the views of Brentano and Meinong. Near Fine with a few hints of wear to the edges of the boards in a Very Good lightly rubbed dust jacket with fading to the spine panel and a small closed tear and few associated wrinkles to the top right corner of the rear panel.
