About this Item
Black cloth-covered spine and paper-covered boards. Cloth chipped at the spine ends. Staining to the front cover. The binding is splitting between pages 48 and 51, but still holding. Page 49/50 is loose, but present, and the top quarter of the page is torn away diagonally. Several pages have some pencil scribbling. 80 pages with Index of Melodies. Illustrated with black and white photos and tablature. A rare instructional book on the psaltery, a musical instrument with origins in Asia and among the Ancient Hebrews many centuries ago. The zither was developed form the psaltery. Children and young adults appear to have been the audience for this book as the writing and photos would indicate. Seller Inventory # 10035
