Hard Cover. Condition: Fine. No dust jacket. First edition of Boni and Liveright's Poems of William Blake, including the 30-page introduction by William Butler Yeats. Bound spine and boards in green leatherette, the volume appears to have been rarely read. The binding is as tight as when printed, and there are no flaws to the text block. The spine shows no signs of shelf wear and contains the title, W.B. Yeats, and Modern Library printed in gilt. At the top and bottom are two gilt stripes. A barely perceptible crease runs down the center of the spine. (see seller's photo) The front cover shows the bright gilt original colophon reading Modern Library with Boni and Liveright's initials BL in a circle below. Front and back end papers feature a limegreen and tan panorama inscribed Horace Brodsky-19. This is a rare opportunity to obtain a century-old volume in exceptional condition of William Blake's poems introduced by W. B. Yeats in the Boni and Liveright's desirable first edition. 278 pages.
