Original brown card stock wrappers, lettered and illustrated in dark brown. (12)pp - unpaginated. A Brochure Compiled by the Federal Writers' Project, Works Progress Administration, in South Dakota. An American Guide Series publication. Sponsored by The Parent Teachers Association. A collection of eleven short and sometimes whimsical stories. Three illustrations, one being full page. There is no dated present anywhere but I was able to get the 1938 date from several different catalogs. The Catalog of WPA Writers' Program Publications of 1941 provides the 1937 date on page 43 and the Catalogue of the American Guide Series And Other Writers Project Publications distributed by Brentano's gives the same date on page 20.
