Binding tight; interior clean with previous book seller (Bell's Books of Palo Alto) stamp inside lower rear board; decorative end pages with red line drawing of girl and boy bowing toward each other. Red boards with gilt lettering; light bumping at corners; small circular white spot on front board with slight browning of both front and back boards near spine.Vivid and colorful price clipped dust jacket preserved in mylar; mild wear and chipping at corners and spine ends; 1/2" and 1/4" closed tears upper front; rubbing along folds. When Pegeen's Granny dies, she goes to stay with the O'Sullivans in Glengarriff until her uncle in America can make arrangements to get her. 1st (First) edition as no later printings mentioned.
