NO COPIES OF THIS FOR SALE AT ANY OF THE 26 MAJOR INTERNET BOOK SEARCH ENGINES WORLDWIDE. Only ONE library is listed as owning a copy. Barker was ne of the best of Maine's 19th century poets and in one of his best Civil War poems he is almost reminiscent of Walt Whitman! He also wrote a small collection of Masonic poems as well as poems relating to the law which was his profession. This volume was published by his widow (he died young in his fifties) and includes a biographical introduction and history. bright, tight and lovely copy has minor owner's name on end paper, no other marks no tears or flaws. The covers have just spine end and corner wear and title is still bright on spine.Wonderful Maine rarity and I was surprised at the vigor and freshness of the poet's work.
