First edition, no date. Light blue boards with blue lettering on spine and navy lettering and insignia on front cover. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed, particularly at the edges. Spine sunned. Covers are also faded and have patches of heavy discolouration, front and back. Edges are showing some heavy wear, some places buckram is rubbed away. Head and tail of spine bumped and frayed, corners smooth and bear some heavy wear and tear. Previous bookseller's stamp on front free endpaper. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear some moderate discolouration and heavy foxing. Page edges are also lightly discoloured and foxed, particularly at the head edge. Binding is tidy, a little loose. This book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # FIC1243
