All engravings and Map of Holland to page 14 present, as called for. ***Very good in tan cloth-covered pictorial boards with gilt and black titles spine and front board and colour pictorial illustration showing: "The Weight House, Alkmaar" to the front board. Decorative triple blind borders and a single blind border to rear board. Sepia floral front and rear free endpapers and pastedowns. All edges of text-block gilt. Boards slightly rubbed and slightly marked. Edges of boards slightly rubbed. Tiny hole to spine cloth. Corners of boards rubbed. Head and tail of spine rubbed. Contemporaneous red and black and signed in fountain pen decorative School Prize bookplate to front free endpaper awarded 22 April, 1901 first class prize presented to Thomas Hogarth of the Clifford School by Kingston Upon Hull School Board.
