Large quarto. Approx 12x9". Unpaginated [6 pages]. Sepia-toned photo-illustrated stapled wrappers, with black lettering on the front cover. The publication is an issue of the of the promotional supplement to the German weekly, Illustrierter Film-Kurier, promoting the German release of the 1927 Universal Pictures film "Uncle Tom's Cabin", in what was the final silent-era adaptation of the hugely successful and controversial 19th novel by Harriet Beecher Stowe. Directed by Harry A. Pollard, and produced by Carl Laemmle, this film version of the story featured James B. Lowe as the title character. In Germany the film was distributed by UFA. The booklet is profusely illustrated throughout with sepia-toned photogravure images and photomontage, depicting scenes and characters from the film. Text throughout, including cast and crew credits, in German. Wrappers with a few light stains on the covers, and minor rubbing to extremities. Interior with a few sporadic light stains throughout. Wrappers and interior in very good to very good+ condition overall. Protected by modern mylar. Quite scarce. Seller Inventory # 44699
