8vo. Pp. 306. Fore-edge untrimmed, top edge dyed red. Bound in blue cloth with a water motif and lettering stamped in dark blue on front board and spine. Just the slightest suggestion of wear to folds of dust jacket, else a notably fresh copy devoid of wear. Novel with a nautical theme that follows a chap from England to South America as he searches for his friend's daughter, thought to be hiding in Buenes Aires. The striking dust jacket by "Coe," crudely executed, somehow conveys the lives of dissolute roughians passing for Cafe Society. Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
