Whitehead Bros., Wolverhampton, 1915. Hardcover. First edition, first impression. Teal cloth. Gilt lettering to spine and to upper board. Arms of Halesowen Abbey gilt stamped to upper board. Black and white frontispiece. Illustrated throughout with 14 black and white plates. No dustjacket. Boards partially soiled and discoloured. Gilt lettering dulled. Top corner of fore edge of upper board lightly bumped. Some foxing to the first few and to the last few pages. Top edges partially stained with what would appear to be ink. The ink stain encroaches onto the extreme top edge of over half the pages. Text unaffected. Overall, the book is in just about a good condition. Seller Inventory # 3547
