Norman Rockwell's Four Seasons, George Mendoza, Grosset & Dunlap, 1982, US First Printing Norman Rockwell was an American painter and illustrator. His works have a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of the country's culture. George Mendoza is a poet who collaborated with Rockwell in publishing four best-selling books. This book represents Mendoza's one hundredth book published and contains his poems and Rockwell's paintings of everyday scenes that capture the spirit of each season. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There are faint marks to the first end paper and foxing to the top edge. The clipped dust jacket is in near fine condition with a mark to the front board, a slightly darkened spine and marks and faint indentations to the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box. Seller Inventory # 03488
