A VG copy (some foxing to the page block edges and to both sets of end-papers); boards really bright and clean. The book is dated to the copyright page thus denoting a first edition. The dustwrapper is price-clipped to the front flap with a small chip to the bottom of the spine right-hand corner of the spine/left-hand corner of the front panel. The head of the spine is creased with several, old tape repairs to the verso. Minor creasing to top right-hand corner of the front panel. The red spine lettering faded to pale orange.
