Illustrated with 14 striking b/w plates (including 3 folded), this delightful monograph examines the work of Ephraim Moses Lilien (1874-1925), a remarkable art nouveau illustrator and print-maker particularly noted for his art on Jewish and Zionist themes. Lilien is sometimes called the "first Zionist artist." Minor shelf wear. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Binding in overall good+ to very good, interior in very good condition.
