First UK Edition. Publisher's green boards with gilt spine lettering. Scattered foxing to the top edge and with a brown spot to the rear free end-paper that marginally shows through to the last few pages of the book. No inscriptions. Overall VG indeed. Soiling shows on rear white panel of unclipped D/W; the four front corners rubbed with a little loss; the top 4 cm of spine foxed and perforated (likely due to insect damage); likewise damage along top 1 cm margin of rear panel; a touch of loss at base of spine.
