Half calf,( dos et coins en cuir) with 7 gilt linear decorations to spine and yellow boards. Black labels to show volume numbers.Silk page markers. Endpapers have pretty dotted pattern in green and pink. A frontispiece to vol 1. shows Cleopatra arriving at Tarsus, to vol. 2 , the wreck of The Perouse. The bindings are firm and neat, the texts are very clean and crisp, with only a very occasional light brown mark or passage lightly marked in pencil . No foxing. Seller Inventory # 004128
