First printing of first UK edition of the 31st novel in the Michael Shayne detective series. May be ex-lib, as some label residue to fep, but no other library markings. Stock a little toned and book is well read, with some spotting to edge of block occasionally intruding onto pages. Four small ink dots to title page. Endpapers and leading edges of d/j internal flaps are marked by tape residue (tape long since gone). Mathematical calculations in pencil to rear endpapers. Smart black boards with crisp blue and white tilting to spine. VG unclipped d/j, very lightly worn to edges and a little toned to rear. 12mo. 188pp. Seller Inventory # 103589
