27 x 21 cm.372 pages in red leather binding of the original first edition for a private library (see book plate at front.)This superb study of French Architecture in the Middle Ages is 'perhaps' a limited edition of 433 copies of which this is copy 86. Has 700 'gravures' in the text and 18 Heliogravure hors-text. Major plates have tracing covers with red highlights of important features. Whatever the quality of the textual commentary this is a wonderful publication presented so well in a binding that adds to the attractiveness of the contents.
