Description:
First edition, first impression. Octavo, pp 254. Bound in blue cloth covered hard boards, gilt to spine, and in the original dust jacket which is un-clipped and priced 7s. 6d. net. Top edge stained blue which remains bright and unfaded. The book is in Near Fine condition, no inscriptions or other markings inside, just marred by some light brown spotting to the fore-edge, and very occasional foxing in the margins. The jacket has a two areas of surface scuffing, approx 1cm x 2cm at the top of the lower panel and approx 4cm x 4cm at the bottom of the rear panel where the top layer of the thick jacket is pulling but remains present with no loss to the text on the rear. Otherwise the jacket is in exception condition and also grades Near Fine. Seller Inventory # B6566
