1938. First Edition. 269 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Noticeable cracking to top of rear hinge, causing board to be slightly loose. Mild cracking to gutters on occasion, however binding remains firm. Pages remain bright and clear with mild tanning and occasional foxing. More pronounced to text block edges, first and last few pages. Minor holes to top text block edge. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with scuffing, soiling and marking across the boards. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
