6.5" H. Full calf, intact, gilt, all edges gilt, Very Good. Marble endpapers against elaborate gilt decoration at interior edges of boards. With engraved presentation label, from the "Gravesend Church Union to Rev. Richard Joynes, B. D. in token of their esteem and appreciation of his services as Secretary of the Union from the year 1843 to July 3rd, 1861." Some rubbing to boards. There is a small crease at upper edge of pgs 53-224, noticeable on close inspection. The dark green calf binding has a pleasant, supple feel. Seller Inventory # 001454
