First edition first printing hardback, 1946, with no jacket. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - black cloth boards slightly rubbed. Binding tight and appears little read - front endpaper neatly removed. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; toning to page-ends but text and illustration to title page bright and clear throughout. Photographs available. Not an old library book.
