Approximately 8 inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine poor condition spine is missing. Joints poor condition both joints are broken the full length. Corners poor condition no front corners as the board is missing, the corners on the detached rear board are worn. Boards poor condition the front board is missing, the rear board is completely detached from the body of the book and the leather is coming away from the board and is very worn and damaged. Page edges good condition top edge darkened, fore and bottom edges speckled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges poor condition both hinges are broken. End papers good condition plain, tanned and foxed with damp staining. Title good condition lightly tanned with some foxing. Pages good condition numerous illustrations, 40 engraved plates, most of the plates are loose including the Strand Bridge plate between pages 246 and 247, St. Martin s Church plate between pages 248 and 249, lightly tanned with some foxing throughout.
