Gift quality first printing of the first edition. Name and stamp on fep, else crisp, clean, tight and well bound. 182pp text flawless. Unclipped color illustrated dust wrapper is a reproduction that shows some abrading of color but is complete, somewhat age-toned and displays well in new mylar. Comanche boy Little Hawk is fascinated with a wild black horse on the plains and while he is figuring out a way to capture him, one night a bear charged the camp and Little Hawk risked death to loose his arrow, he finds out the Apaches captured his Father and there were long hours on the plains pitting his wits against the wily black stallion.
