First edition, ex-library. Measuring approximately 9" x 6.25" with 350 numbered pages. This book is in very good condition. Moderate bumping and chipping to both ends of spine. Gilt lettering and design on spine and boards still full and vivid. Library markings on spine, all edges of textblock and both pastedowns. Hinges are cracked and exposingmesh. Interior pages are clean. Edward Bass (November 23, 1726 - September 10, 1803) was the first American Episcopal bishop of the Diocese of Massachusetts and second bishop of the Diocese of Rhode Island.
