Dark brown pebbled cloth covered boards with red horizontal background bands on the upper and lower margins of front panel and spine. Gilt-stamped lettering and angel illustration on front panel, white paper label on spine. Boards and edges are lightly scuffed. Outmost edges at head and tail of board spine appear to be professionally restored, they are very stiff and with no chips. The front corner at head of spine has a 1/2" crack along the front hinge. External page edges are age-toned and a bit soiled. Previous owner's information on first blank page after FFEP, else internally clean, no marks, tears or foxing. Text block is snug.
