First Edition, First Printing. A near fine copy with Mary Martindale's ownership inscription (dated "23. Feb. 1926") on the front pastedown. This makes this copy into an important and rather juicy association copy as Mary Martindale was the sister-in-law of Ford Madox Ford and had an affaire with him (while he was still married to her sister Elsie). Shortly after the affaire Ford left both his wife and Mary and went on to live with Violet Hunt, the author of this book. 2. Douglas Goldring.
