Gift quality hardcover in green cloth covered boards with sharp tips and spine ends. No names, tears or soil within the glossy133 page text. Unclipped, unpriced white background dust wrapper is clean, not rubbed but does have a crescent shaped closed tear on the rear panel that is of size but barely noticeable. Large color photograph of some tall pines down in SC on the dj. This Land I Have Loved tells the author's love affair with the area, with the sports he and his friends enjoyed (Lots of duck and bird hunting, rifle shooting), the history of the place and the people he met that became his friends. They lived in the area between Thomasville, Beorgia, and Tallahassee, Florida, and includes a section near Albany, Georgia, when referring to the Georgia-Florida Field Trial Club activities. Photographed are a massive arrowhead collection gathered, plenty of husband & wife photos rifle shooting at birds, ducks, in boats and behind blinds. There is talk and reminiscing of all the plantation and estate owners getting together to form a safe place, protected for hunting and for wildlife. Seller Inventory # 46879
