This is the 'Holy Grail' of Ya-Ya clan rarities. This is the HARDBACK lst ed. of Rebecca Wells first book. The softback first edition is not too scarce as they were sent out as review copies, but the HARDBACK lst ed of this is a rarity with few copies for sale ANYWHERE including the entire worldwide internet with its 26 major book search engines, NO copies at ABAA and other ritzy sites and I cannot even find a record of this being sold at ANY price. I heard about this but never saw one offered under $2,500 and that was a few years ago. It is hard to believe that this book is already 25 years old and of course there will be less chance of finding another has time goes on. The book is FINE with NO marks or wear just faintest trace of page edge soil. The lovely dust jacket has a few small edge chips and an amateur dab of marker on some white spots have 'inked through a little if you look closely but only one minor 1/4" edge tear. Very glamorous showpiece that would take the place of honor at a book fair with other Modern First Editions. The ya-Ya series has proven HUGELY popular and sales have hung study.
