A very good plus copy in an unclipped ($5.95) and very good plus dustjacket. A tight and clean copy except for a tanned endpaper caused by owner's newspaper clippings about the author--which were clipped into the rear of the book--which caused the darkening of the endpaper. There is also a small owner's name in ink to the front endpaper--light and very small. Otherwise this copy is clean and tight with no other markings--black cloth with gold gilt lettering and red Random House logo to the spine--as new--Gold gilt "M-A" lettering to the black front cloth board--as new. Top red topstain to the upper page edges--as new. Random house "2-9" numberline which the publisher used to signify a first printing--and with "First Printing" on the copyright page. The dustjacket is complete and unclipped and has a light crease to the front flap--top to bottom--light rubbing to the panels and very light edgewear to the top and bottom of the spine. This title is extremely hard to find in the first printing--which had a limited run production--published in 1969--most copies offered have the 1970 publication date.
