Publisher's buckram cloth hardcovers (V1; Salmon, V2; Gray), brown stamped title on spine covers, pasted black/white photographs on front covers, orange endpapers, profusely illustrated text with black/white photography, orange/brown pattern paper covered slipcase. Measures: 1.75 W x 10.75 D x 13.5 H inches. About the work: In the fall of 1975, in conjunction with the opening of the Oakland Museum exhibit of "Kinsey Photographer," the authors published the first two volumes of their books by the same name. After a reviewer mentioned that the work should be shared with readers at a price less than the pricey $150 label for the excellent hardbound books from Scrimshaw Press. So the authors worked with Chronicle Books in San Francisco and in March 1978 they reprinted the combined two volumes of Kinsey Photographer, adding a third printing that fall after the first 10,000 were gobbled up. CONDITION NOTES: Very good +; light wear not commensurate with age and use (e.g. Books - gently sunned spine covers, light age-toned text pages. Slipcase - slight sporadic wear around opening and rear cover surface.), strong square spines/tight bindings, crisp and clean leaves. and images. A nice set. Seller Inventory # 002900
