About this Item
First Soviet edition. Preface by A. S. Mulyarchiuka. Notes by A. Kukharenko. Book designed by A. T. Yakovlev. Preface in Russian and text in English, followed by approximately 50 pages of explanatory notes. Rear board stained (yellowing the bottom corners of the final 30 pages but not affecting text), binding cocked, just about very good. A nicely-designed edition of Warren's Pulitzer-Prize winning novel. A note in Russian on the copyright page (roughly translated) can't help but mention that the book deals with "the demagogic hype of election campaigns, bribery and blackmail of politicians." *OCLC* seems to locate 11 copies, only three in the U.S. Seller Inventory # 588075
