Second impression from 1966 of novel first published by Faber in 1961. Ex-library book with City of Nottingham Local History Library stamp to publication details page. Some label residue to the front free endpaper and the trace of a number in pencil to the front paste down but no other library markings. The page edges have some browning with a little spotting to the top edges. Slight wrinkling to the bottom of the pages due to damp damage. The boards also have some light staining along the top of the rear panel. Pages otherwise unmarked. The jacket has some staining along the top and bottom edges where it has been damp with the browning more evident on the reverse. The spine is also a little browned. Illustrated by Cecil Leslie. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer.
