Quarto. 18pp. Original photo-illustrated wraps with blue and black lettering on cover, protected by modern mylar. Contains brief printed note from German chancellor Willy Brandt with facsimile signature: "With the opening of a small cultural center the Europa-Center gains a new attraction, a fortunate addition to the manifold existing program. That a theater and a gallery cooperate to comment on plays and exhibition on a quarterly basis in a journal, I think of as a welcome initiative, which speaks for the liveliness of our city." The magazine contains two high profile contributions: on John Heartfield by Fritz J. Raddatz, and on an exhibition of light, kinetic , and game objects as well as serigraphs by Gerhard von Graevenitz. Illustrated throughout with b/w reproductions of photographs, objects, and serigraphs. Contains announcement of the quarterly Katalog starting in mid May of 1966.
